Whole School Trip To H20 Extreme and Maidstone Park

The sun was shining as we set out on the bus for a long bus ride all the way out to Upper Hutt.

We were swimming first. What a wonderful time we all had, splashing about, riding the waves and going down the big slide.

We were so busy that Julie didn't manage to get any photos of us at the pool. After cooling down in the water, we walked back across the road to the park. We had our yummy lunches, some of us even had a picnic together. The park was great with lots of fun things to play on. On the long bus ride home some of us were so tired that we even fell asleep!

I was so impressed with Room 8s amazing behaviour. They were very respectful and responsible, everyone followed the instructions and we all had a lovely fun day. Thank you so much to all the families that helped us out and joined us during the day.

Rainbow Team Trip to Willowbank Park and Chipmunks

Term 4 is passing by very quickly! We were very lucky to have a beautiful sunny day for our walk to the park. We had a lot of fun playing at the playground, playing with the sports equipment and cooling down in the river.

Chipmunks was a lot of fun, we even got a visit from Charlie the Chipmunk who gave us some fun stickers to take home. 

Thank you to the families that joined us. I was super impressed by Room 8's behaviour. They were very respectful and responsible.

 

This week is also going to be another busy week. Please remember to send swimming togs and library books back for tomorrow. 

Our big school trip to Upper Hutt is on Tuesday, it would be lovely to see some of you their!

Pack The Bus

Thank you to all our families that supported Pack The Bus yesterday. The sun was shining, we sang Christmas songs and we got to meet Santa, Starry the star and some lovely friendly elves.

Week 5

We had a lovely time enjoying the sunshine this week.We especially enjoyed getting outside and skipping with the sunshine team.

We also love doing out daily fitness dancing. We are getting really good at following the instructions.

Just another reminder that we have our trip to Chipmunks and Willowbank on Wednesday this week and we all need to make sure we have our sunhat at school everyday. Running Records ( Reading Tests) are being done this week, so children will be bringing home books  ( they have already read)

out of there book baskets.
